Strategist & Copywriter

The Strategist & Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling marketing strategies and persuasive copy that align with clients’ goals and brand voice. This role bridges creative storytelling with strategic thinking — analyzing data, understanding audiences, and developing messaging that drives conversions and engagement across digital channels.

You will work closely with clients, creative teams, and internal stakeholders to produce marketing materials and campaigns that are both impactful and aligned with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development
  • Conduct in-depth research on client industries, target audiences, competitors, and market trends.
  • Develop strategic marketing frameworks, customer journeys, and content strategies to guide campaign execution.
  • Identify key messaging angles and opportunities for differentiation in clients’ positioning.

    • Sales pages
    • Email sequences and newsletters
    • Landing pages and lead magnets
    • Ads and social media campaigns
    • Video scripts and webinar funnels

  • Adapt messaging for different tones, audiences, and formats while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Edit and proofread copy for clarity, flow, and accuracy.
3. Collaboration & Communication
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients through tools like Monday.com, Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Loom.
  • Provide regular updates and maintain clear documentation of progress and deliverables.
  • Communicate blockers or dependencies early and propose solutions proactively.
  • Support designers and implementers by supplying strategic direction and content guidance.
4. Reporting & Analysis
  • Use analytics tools to assess the performance of campaigns and content.
  • Present findings, insights, and optimization recommendations.
  • Continuously refine strategies based on performance data and client goals.

  • Project Management & Communication: Monday.com, Slack, Zoom, Loom
  • Collaboration & Scheduling: Google Workspace, TidyCal, Whimsical, Typeform
  • Marketing & Analytics: Funnel software, ESPs (email service providers), website platforms, analytics dashboards

Reporting Structure

  • You’ll report directly to the creative or strategy lead (depending on project structure).
  • Provide daily asynchronous updates in Slack and document tasks in Monday.com or other project boards.
  • Prioritize internal deadlines ahead of client deadlines to maintain workflow integrity and quality control.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong background in copywriting, content strategy, or digital marketing.
  • Excellent command of written English and persuasive communication.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized.
  • Familiarity with conversion-focused writing, sales funnels, and online marketing principles.

Ideal Candidate Profile
