Senior CRM Systems Specialist (Remote)
We are hiring a Senior CRM Specialist to architect, build, and scale the complete CRM infrastructure for a single, high-growth US-based SaaS and services client. This is a high-IQ, deeply technical role for someone who thinks in systems, builds beyond platform limitations, and develops CRM architecture that directly drives revenue performance. You will be fully embedded into the client’s team, supported by The Remote Reps, and given full ownership over the CRM ecosystem powering sales, marketing, and customer operations.
Role Overview
Your mission: design and operate a world-class CRM engine — from foundational architecture and migrations to advanced automations, integrations, and revenue intelligence systems. You will work directly with founders, revenue leadership, and operations teams to transform business processes into scalable, automated CRM infrastructure built for speed and precision.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Architecture & Implementation
- Architect end-to-end CRM systems tailored for SaaS and service-based revenue models.
- Lead complex CRM implementations, migrations, restructures, and system redesigns.
- Design scalable pipeline frameworks, lifecycle stages, custom objects, and relational data models.
- Build CRM structures that support Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and RevOps in a unified ecosystem.
Advanced Automation & Custom Development
- Build sophisticated workflow automations, conditional logic systems, and multi-step process orchestration.
- Develop custom CRM capabilities using APIs, webhooks, middleware, and external integrations.
- Create automated lead routing, scoring models, attribution tracking, renewal flows, and lifecycle automation.
- Extend platform capabilities beyond native features through advanced configuration and engineered solutions.
Platform Ownership & Systems Integration
- Own and operate enterprise-grade CRM platforms including HubSpot, Salesforce, Odoo, and Pipedrive.
- Design and maintain deep integrations across outbound systems, marketing automation tools, billing platforms, analytics stacks, and internal systems.
- Implement and manage API connections, webhook logic, and automation layers using tools like Zapier and Make.
- Ensure data governance, integrity, system resilience, and long-term scalability.
Revenue Intelligence & Data Architecture
- Build executive-level dashboards for pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, revenue performance, and lifecycle analytics.
- Design advanced segmentation, reporting logic, and attribution frameworks.
- Create clean, normalized data architecture to support accurate forecasting and performance tracking.
- Develop CRM systems that provide real-time operational visibility across the revenue organization.
Optimization & Continuous Innovation
- Audit and optimize CRM infrastructure for performance, automation depth, and operational efficiency.
- Identify structural bottlenecks and eliminate friction through engineered improvements.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks and system logic as the business scales.
- Stay ahead of CRM innovation, AI-powered automation, and emerging revenue operations technology.
Tools You Should Be Comfortable With
- CRM Platforms: HubSpot, Salesforce, Odoo, Pipedrive
- Automation & Integration: APIs, webhooks, Zapier, Make (Integromat), custom integrations
- Data & Reporting: CRM reporting engines, attribution systems, revenue analytics
- AI & Productivity: ChatGPT, Claude, AI workflow automation tools
What We Are Looking For
- Senior-level hands-on experience designing and scaling CRM systems across major platforms.
- Deep technical expertise in APIs, system integrations, data modeling, and automation engineering.
- Proven experience developing custom CRM solutions beyond out-of-the-box functionality.
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with first-principles problem-solving ability.
- Out-of-the-box thinker capable of developing creative, scalable solutions to complex operational challenges.
- Experience operating in high-growth SaaS and services environments.
- Ability to translate business strategy into technical CRM architecture.
