Sales Development Representative (SDR)
The Remote Reps is a performance-driven remote staffing company that builds high-output sales and GTM teams for startups, scaleups, and revenue organizations in the US. We place elite remote talent and support their success with training, tools, and performance culture. You help fuel our growth by generating new pipeline, booking meetings, and representing our brand in the market.
What You’ll Do
You’ll own top-of-funnel growth for our sales engine by identifying, engaging, and qualifying leads. You’ll work daily with data, outreach, and people to drive the pipeline.
Your responsibilities include:
- Prospect outbound leads using multi-channel outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn)
- Respond to and qualify inbound interest from marketing and partners.
- Conduct discovery conversations to understand needs and fit.
- Maintain accurate activity and contact data in our CRM.
- Book qualified meetings and hand them off to account executives.
- Hit daily activity and quality metrics (calls, emails, conversations, meetings).
- Share insights on buyer trends, objections, and competitive intel with the team.
We’re Looking For
You thrive in remote sales environments and have a hunger to drive results and improve systems, not just hit numbers.
You should have:
- 2-5 years of experience in sales development, SDR/BDR, or related customer outreach roles.
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of outreach while maintaining personalization.
- A sense of ownership and urgency that shows up in daily work.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a distributed team.
- Curious to learn about our offerings and sell value, not scripts.
Nice to Have (not required):
- Experience selling to B2B buyers or in SaaS, tech, services, or remote talent industries.
- Track record with quotas or measurable outreach targets.
- Comfort with rapid feedback and iteration on messaging.
Tech Stack Familiarity
You should be comfortable using or eager to learn:
- CRM: HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, or similar.
- Sales Engagement:: Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Communication: Gmail/Outlook, Slack.
- Prospecting Tools: LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Apollo, Lusha, Hunter.
- Calendar and scheduling tools (Google Calendar, Calendly).
