Human Resources Specialist (HR)
The Human Resources Specialist will oversee the entire employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition and onboarding through development and compliance. You’ll help build a strong, people-centric culture, maintain organized processes, and support team success. This hybrid role requires a proactive mindset and willingness to work from our Islamabad office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring
- Develop job posts and sourcing strategies to attract qualified talent
- Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage candidate pipelines
- Coordinate interview scheduling and hiring communications
- Support hiring managers with decision-making and documentation
- Maintain structured and compliant hiring processes
2. Onboarding & Offboarding
- Prepare onboarding materials, orientation schedules, and documentation
- Facilitate new hire orientation to ensure smooth ramp-up
- Support IT/account access setup and HRIS integrations
- Manage exit interviews and offboarding workflows
- Maintain accurate personnel records
3. Employee Relations & Support (rep check in )
- Respond to employee and contractor HR inquiries
- Maintain healthy communication and resolve workplace concerns
- Encourage and support positive team culture in remote environments
- Foster Rep health through check-in
4. People Operations & Compliance
- Ensure company policies and HR processes are followed
- Maintain HR databases, files, and compliance documents
- Support contract management, payroll coordination, and time-tracking integrity
- Draft and update HR documentation (handbooks, SOPs, policies)
5. Performance & Development
- Support performance reviews and feedback cycles
- Monitor role KPIs and collaborate with leadership on development plans
- Coordinate training and upskilling initiatives
- Track talent progress and recommend improvement programs

- HRIS or ATS systems (preferred)
- Typeform / Notion (bonus)
Reporting Structure
- Reports to the Chief of Staff
- Documents tasks in internal project management systems
- Provides weekly updates on hiring pipelines + employee status
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or people operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Experience interviewing and hiring talent
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities
- Knowledge of global hiring best practices and compliance
- Experience with HRIS/ATS tools (preferred)
